OnCall Mobile Labs is a professional mobile phlebotomy and specimen collection service specializing in the collection, handling, processing, and transportation of laboratory specimens. Our services are designed to enhance convenience and accessibility by bringing specimen collection directly to patients, healthcare facilities, and partner organizations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
All specimen collections are performed strictly based on a valid physician’s order or authorized laboratory requisition. OnCall Mobile Labs does not perform collections without proper documentation and authorization.
Scope of Practice
OnCall Mobile Labs does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our role is limited to specimen collection and transportation services as requested by licensed healthcare providers and laboratories.
Patients should consult their physician or healthcare provider for any medical concerns, interpretation of results, or treatment recommendations.
Specimen Handling, Integrity, and Compliance
Maintaining specimen integrity is our highest priority. OnCall Mobile Labs adheres to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, CLIA-related handling standards, and laboratory-specific requirements.
- All specimens are collected using proper identification protocols and aseptic techniques
- Specimens are handled, labeled, stored, and transported according to required temperature, timing, and packaging standards
- Chain-of-custody procedures are followed to ensure accurate tracking and delivery
- Specimens are delivered promptly to the patient’s designated laboratory
While every precaution is taken to ensure accuracy and proper handling, OnCall Mobile Labs is not responsible for errors, delays, or issues that occur once the specimen has been transferred to the laboratory.
Errors and Recollection Policy
If a collection error is determined to be the responsibility of OnCall Mobile Labs, we will return and recollect the specimen at no additional cost.
If an error occurs at the laboratory level, or due to factors outside of our control, recollection services may be offered at a reduced or standard service fee.
Billing and Insurance
OnCall Mobile Labs charges service fees for mobile collection and courier services only. We do not bill for laboratory testing.
All laboratory testing fees, insurance claims, and billing inquiries must be directed to the performing laboratory or the patient’s insurance provider. OnCall Mobile Labs operates independently and does not control laboratory pricing, billing practices, or insurance coverage.
HIPAA Compliance & Patient Confidentiality
OnCall Mobile Labs is fully compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and all applicable privacy and security regulations.
- All patient information is treated as strictly confidential
- Protected Health Information (PHI) is securely handled, stored, and transmitted
- Access to patient data is limited to authorized personnel only
- No patient information is shared without proper authorization unless required by law

Limitation of Liability
OnCall Mobile Labs is responsible for the proper collection and transportation of specimens. However, we are not liable for:
- Laboratory testing errors or result inaccuracies
- Delays caused by external factors beyond our control
- Insurance claim denials or billing disputes
- Medical outcomes related to diagnostic results
Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, patients and partner organizations acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service, OnCall Mobile Labs reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time to remain compliant with current laws, regulations, and best practices.

Payment Policy – OnCall Mobile Labs
Private Pay Requirement
OnCall Mobile Labs operates on a direct pay (private pay) basis for all mobile specimen collection and courier services. Patients and clients are required to pay OnCall Mobile Labs directly for services rendered, as we do not bill insurance for collection services.
Laboratory Testing & Insurance
While OnCall Mobile Labs charges only for specimen collection and transportation, laboratory testing performed on collected specimens may be eligible for insurance coverage.
- We may collect and provide your insurance information to the performing laboratory
- The laboratory will bill your insurance directly for testing services
- Any questions regarding lab test billing, coverage, or claims must be directed to the laboratory or your insurance provider
OnCall Mobile Labs is not responsible for laboratory testing fees, insurance determinations, or billing disputes.
Payment Timing
- Payment is required at the time of service, unless prepaid arrangements have been made
- Services may also be paid in advance during scheduling or booking
- Failure to provide payment at the time of service may result in cancellation or refusal of service
Accepted Payment Methods
Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit cards, electronic payments, and other approved forms of payment as specified at the time of booking.
Non-Payment & Outstanding Balances
Any unpaid balances for services provided by OnCall Mobile Labs remain the responsibility of the patient or requesting party. Services may be withheld or discontinued for outstanding balances.
Policy Acknowledgment
By scheduling or receiving services, patients and clients acknowledge and agree to this payment policy and understand that OnCall Mobile Labs is a direct-pay service provider for specimen collection and transport
